Golden Cross Resources (ASX:GCR) has no connection with the unlisted mineral explorer Gold & Copper Resources Pty Ltd, the subject of stories in Tuesday’s 20.11.2012 Sydney Morning Herald (SMH).

The use of the initials GCR in the article may inadvertently cause some readers to believe that Golden Cross Resources is involved in legal proceedings with Newcrest Mining. This is not the case.

GCR’s relationship with Newcrest Mining is excellent and GCR wishes it not to be damaged by any misinterpreted reference.

GCR has requested that the SMH publish a clarification.
