- HIGHLIGHT EXTENSIVE COPPER-GOLD MINERALISATION AT DEPTH
- EXTEND THE OPEN PIT POTENTIAL AT BUCKLEY’S HILL
- LOCATE A NEW 4g/t GOLD ZONE
Assay results from GCHR313 have been received and indicate a large zone of copper-gold mineralisation extending from 25 metres to 695 metres down-hole:
670 metres grading 0.28% copper, 0.28 g/t gold
Using a 0.2% copper cut-off grade, a total of seven separate zones of mineralisation occur within the hole as follows, and shown in Figure 2:
- 70 metres @ 0.56% copper, 1.04 g/t gold from 25 metres
- 174 metres @ 0.40% copper, 0.40 g/t gold from 121 metres
- 50 metres @ 0.20% copper, 0.09 g/t gold from 339 metres
- 62 metres @ 0.28% copper, 0.17 g/t gold from 402 metres
- 12 metres @ 0.22% copper, 0.11 g/t gold from 498 metres
- 108 metres @ 0.27% copper, 0.13 g/t gold from 551 metres
- 20 metres @ 0.24% copper, 0.15 g/t gold from 675 metres
GCHR313 was originally drilled to 260m as a metallurgical sample hole. The hole was extended to 701 metres beneath Copper Hill to assess continuity of the mineralised zone at depth.
